Volkswagen Passat Grilles
With the release of the Passat, the traditional youth car manufacturer has evolved
to upgrade their vehicles and to cover more market brackets. Considered as a midsize
sedan, the Passat is far different from the previous Volkswagen models which names
come from animals from the forest: the Volkswagen Golf and Rabbit. With the revolutionized
styling and improved engine, interior, and exterior features the Passat is a big
leap for the company.
Upon first look, the new Volkswagen Passat is impressive. With its stylish body
curves this midsize Volkswagen projects a simple yet sophisticated stance. The
interior is roomy and comfortable for 5 passengers. The rear seat has better legroom.
The elegant control panel and steering wheel is impressive. Upholstery and leather
seats are luxurious that could be compared to the Mercedes Benz C-Class and Audi
A4. Engine is new 2.0L 4-cylinder turbodiesel that could produce 134hp and 247
lb-ft of torque. It comes in two trims: the GS and the GLS both with 5-speed Tiptronic
automatic transmission. Handling is great.
With all these characteristics, the Volkswagen Passat is definitely beautiful.
All could agree that it is because of the detail the Volkswagen engineers put
to this vehicle from shifts, lights, windows, and grille. Among all these, grille
is worth mentioning. Usually, a vehicle’s grill is located at the front end of
the vehicle between the headlights which keeps the air flowing to the radiator.
On the case of rear-engined vehicles, the grill could be seen on the rear. As
the vehicle runs, it is necessary to cool down the radiator to keep the engine
from overheating. The grill also protects the delicate radiator from road debris
that may damage the radiator that in time could result to poor engine performance
and overheating.
One thing to note about the vehicle grill is that its style compliments the whole
vehicle image. The grille which carries the emblem of the VW looks beautiful in
itself and better on the vehicle. |
