Toyota MR2 Body Parts
If you are in the market for a roadster, check out the Toyota MR2. The Toyota
MR2 is a two-seat, mid-engined, rear wheel drive sports car manufactured from
1984 to 2005 by Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan. The Toyota MR2’s life began
in 1976 when Toyota launched a design project with the goal of manufacturing a
vehicle that would be both enjoyable to drive, yet still provides fuel economy.
Originally, the purpose of the project was not a sports car not even a mid-engined
one. But because Toyota’s testing department evaluated different alternatives
for engine placement and drive method, it was decided that the MR2 engine should
be placed transversely in the middle of the vehicle.
From then on, the Toyota MR2 was called “Midship Runabout, 2-seater” but later
claimed to be Mid-engine, Rear-wheel drive, 2-seater. In France, the MR2 is known
by a different name. Rather than the MR2, it is branded as the “Coupe MR”, because
MR2 in French sounds like “merdeux” that means “shitty”. But no matter what the
MR2 implies, it is still a vehicle packed with dependable Toyota MR2 body parts.
With a lightweight body, free-revving responsive engines and a low-slung driving
position, and wishbone suspension that provide decent handling, you’ll truly enjoy
driving this gorgeous vehicle.
The Toyota MR2 body parts are the reasons why this vehicle is a pleasure to drive.
The interior is very functional-looking, with everything within reach. Stereo
switches are chunky, allowing you to change stations without hesitation. Seats
of the MR2 are body-hugging and very comfortable, not to mention its seating position
that is very low to the ground which adds to the sensation of speed. The Toyota
MR2 has all the essential equipments and auto body parts, even sports accessories
like a chromed roll bar and a steering-wheel paddle sequential gear-change system
are available. |
