It is called the windshield for it protects the passengers from the wind and all kinds of weather conditions. Windshield with the aid of the roof of the car also protects passengers when the vehicle rolls over.

In short, a good windshield should do four things: to protect the passengers from road debris, to deflect the wind away from the passenger, to keep the passenger safe when the vehicle rolls over, and to keep the passenger from weather conditions.

In the events of replacing your windshield, proper installation should be practiced. A good installation should assure that no air could enter the vehicle.
