Geo Parts
Beginning in the
1989 model year, General Motors pledged to the industry an additional
lineup of economy import market lineup of automobiles in the name of
GEO, a brand of small automobiles that was soon to develop a string of
cars comprising different Geo models of automobiles. Although Geo
models strived in the industry with a brief history contribution, these
cars appeared well on the roads with so much to give for. Geo vehicles
started to appear in the industry with Geo Metro, Geo Spectrum, Geo
Tracker, Geo Prizm, Geo Storm in the lineup.
Geo
Metro is a subcompact hatchback available in several body styles such
as the 4-door sedan, 2-door hatchback, and 2-door convertible. A
subcompact Geo car under model name Spectrum lived only within one year
in the industry that sported 1.5-liter 70 hp I4 engine. Geo brand also
released the unique small sport-utility vehicle in 1990 employing the
model name Geo Tracker and lasted production in 2004.
To
be marketed in the United States as a small car, Geo Prizm penetrated
the market with sedan and 5-door hatchback bodies powered by engines
4A-FE (with options: 4A-GE, 7A-FE), and 1ZZ-FE. Geo Storm, on the other
hand, was a small 3-door hatchback that lived existence from 1990 to
1993. The public also enabled to consume Geo Storm's another body style
of optional 2-door station wagon.
Because
of the sad demise of Geo's brand in the automotive industry, automotive
parts and accessories are even more needed in the market to continue
the contributed legacy of these vehicles in the automotive industry.
Fortunately, Geo aftermarket and OEM automotive manufacturers are
abound so that Geo automotive parts are also provided in industry with
wide scale number of availabilty for all Geo automobiles' maintenance
and repair.
