GM Spoilers
The modern period is characterized by freedom of expression of one’s individuality.
Everyone wants to reflect their personal and distinct uniqueness even on their
own stuff and possessions. It is true to anyone especially among car owners. Customization
or personalization has been a hit and have become a part of constant improvement
and enhancement of the car’s over-all style and performance. Customization or
personalization is the method of giving the car a distinct identity of its own.
It can make the car a stand out from among the rest and not just an ordinary make.

There are several methods to customize a car. One of which is the adding of other
auto parts and accessories either for style, performance or both. A spoiler or
wing is one of the most commonly used add–ons to enhance the style, look and performance
of the car. There are spoilers that are meant only for style and look. These types
are usually used for ordinary applications and everyday use. High-performance
cars like those used for racing applications need a spoiler that can improve not
just the style and look but also the performance.
Spoilers or wings are originally constructed to increase road grip. It increases
the weight of the vehicle for the tires to be pushed onto the road which in turn
provides smoother cornering and turning as well as increased speed. A spoiler
mounted in front is called an air dam while those positioned at the back is a
wing.

For GM vehicles, spoilers come with different style, design and color tones.
New GM spoilers mounted either a front spoiler or air dam or a rear spoiler or
wing, truck cap spoiler, rear window spoiler or tonneau cover spoiler can create
a big impact on its look and style. However the right type must be chosen to avoid
negative effects on the performance and driving dynamics of the auto. |
