GMC Envoy Parts
Unexpected Qualities and Characteristics—these are what the GMC Envoy provides
SUV lovers today. In a world where each and every SUV sold in the market are almost
clones of each other and performs just like their competitors, the GMC Envoy provides
us with qualities and characteristics different from the rest of the pack. The
GMC Envoy has the comfort of a sedan, the power of a truck, and the roominess
of a van—things that are unexpected from a mid-size SUV.
There are actually two different vehicles, or shall we say two separate generations
of the same vehicle, that used the GMC Envoy nameplate. The first of the two GMC
Envoys was introduced in 1998 and was sold through
the 2000 model year. The first generation GMC Envoy is but a luxury trim line
of the GMC Jimmy. It was similar to the Chevrolet Blazer, which was also sold
for the same period.
The second generation of the GMC Envoy appeared for the 2002 model year, where
it eventually replaced the GMC Jimmy. It was now based on the same platform used
by the Chevrolet TrailBlazer and similar Buick Rainier, Oldsmobile Bravada, and
Isuzu Ascender. The current model of the vehicle is available in five trim levels
and available in either the regular 5-passenger seating capacity, or the extended
7-passenger seating capacity.
The base level of the current model line-up is the GMC Envoy, which is equipped
with the Vortec 4200 I6 engine coupled with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
It can seat up to five persons and has a cargo capacity of 80.1 cu ft. The GMC
Envoy XL is equipped with the same engine and transmission as the base trim. However,
it can accommodate 7-passengers and has a cargo capacity of 107.4 cu ft. The GMC
XUV, on the other hand, has a lot more features to offer, including the state
of the art power sliding rear roof, Next Generation Midgate, and the dual-function
drop or swing tailgate. The other two trim levels, the Envoy Denali and the Envoy
Denali XL, are but luxury versions of the Envoy and Envoy XL trims. These last
two trims are gifted with the Vortec 5300 V8 engine and the traditional luxuriousness
available for all GMC Denali vehicles.

The GMC Envoy is a luxury SUV that has a lot of characteristics unexpected from
a regular SUV. That’s why whenever you have to replace a GMC Envoy part, make
sure that these GMC Envoy replacement parts would function in the same way the
original GMC Envoy part would function. The surest way that you will get top quality
GMC Envoy part is to purchase it from an authorized GMC Envoy part dealer. If
you can’t find one, however, you can also purchase GMC Envoy parts from trusted
aftermarket parts dealers that you can find locally or through the Internet. |
