Cadillac Escalade Parts
Another great innovation that came upon GM’s evolution is the Cadillac, the company’s
luxury line. And among its prime models is the Escalade. It is a large sport utility
vehicle that was originally based on GMC’s Chevrolet Yukon Denali. This platform
rolled out the market in 1999 as the first major entry of the division into the
competitive market of SUV as answer to Ford’s 1998 Lincoln Navigator, Mercedes
Benz G-Class, BMW X5, Lexus LX Series and Infiniti QX56.

Initially, this vehicle boasts Cadillac Escalade parts that include the 5.7-liter Vortec engine, powering 255 horsepower. After three
years in the market with that concept, the company decided to have it redesigned
which resulted to an all-new theme, the 2002 Cadillac Escalade. At this point
the vehicle now has got 5.3-liter V8 and 6.0-liter High-Output Vortec engine.
In the next edition, the StabiliTrak or stability control system was upgraded,
as well as power adjustable pedals. Last year, the Cadillac Escalade offered the
20 in chrome wheels or the dubs along with XM satellite radio, second-row bucket
seats, and tire pressure monitoring system.
Today, Cadillac Escalade feature front side-impact airbags, dual-stage front
airbags, ABS, traction and stability control, ultrasonic rear parking assist and
tire pressure monitor. It also has got several kinds of seats that are providing
comfort, the 14-way adjustable heated front bucket seats, second-row heated bucket
seats with audio and climate control, and removable third row seats. You can also
find 24-hour roadside assistance, road sensing suspension, trailing package, and
17-inch chrome wheels.
The ESV trim offers front end glows with a big satin-nickel plastic grille and
vertical halogen headlight clusters. It also features high intensity discharge
headlamps with chrome bezels along with rectangular parking lamps and turn signal
lights, tow hooks and fog lamps. The suburban look of Escalade ESV is further
enhanced by its chrome nameplate, running boards, and roof rack. The EXT trim
on the other hand cannot be set aside by customers due to the ample cargo box
space that’s pampered with luxurious items that boosts comfort.
From this list of Cadillac Escalade parts, and with the transformation of automotive
technology, people would surely expect more with coming editions. In the 2007,
Cadillac Escalade will be the very first vehicle on the GMT900 platform, featuring
American axle’s I-Ride rear independent suspension module. And beyond this, GM
could create another amazing land machine. Who knows, sooner or later, the Cadillac
Escalade might bring the most prestigious awards. |
