The fuel rail is a fuel line that connects all of the injectors in a
multipoint fuel injected system. It is usually 3/4" in diameter and
allows a constant fuel supply to each of the injectors, which act
independently. The fuel rail is filled with pressurized fuel from the
fuel pump.
