Fog lights are gaining popularity again, both in original equipment
and later installation. Standard equipment lamps generally are built
into the front bumper or suspended below the bumper. Aftermarket fog
lights are available in kits that include the lamps, halogen bulbs,
impact resistant plastic covers, and a prewired harness with in-line
fuse holder and switch. The yellow lenses allow better vision in
foggy weather. If driving in patchy fog, do not use high beams, as
their light simply bounces straight back, reducing visibility.
